Fraser to lead growth in retail, technology and consumer business in UK, Ireland and the NetherlandsAldershot, 18 March 2008, Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced it has appointed Rob Fraser vice president of CSC’s Retail, Technology and Consumer business in the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands. Fraser, who will report to Nick Wilson, president of CSC’s Northern European operations, joined the company from Alliance Boots Plc where he was group information technology (IT) director.
Wilson said: “Rob’s pedigree IT background and broad business management experience make him the ideal candidate to lead our growth in this important sector. His expertise and proven leadership skills will strengthen support to our existing strong client base – which includes blue-chip organisations such as Bhs, Whitbread and Diageo – and greatly enhance our new business endeavours.”
Fraser began his IT career in 1985 at Mark & Spencers, and then held business management roles at Lafarge Redland Aggregates and Andersen Consulting. He joined Alliance Boots Plc in 1997 where he held various director-level IT roles across the business. Fraser has a bachelor’s degree in engineering science from Oxford University and a master’s in business administration from Middlesex University Business School.
