Summary:
Since its creation in 2002, Co-operative Financial Services (CFS) has been working hard on an ambitious programme to revolutionise the way in which the constituent parts of its business – Co-operative Bank and Co-operative Insurance Society (CIS) – operate. A key part of developing CFS has been the need to modernise CIS, and major restructuring plans were announced in July 2004.This involved radically reducing costs whilst transforming the sales and servicing model of CIS. As part of this transformation, CSC was engaged to add value to shaping the design of CIS’s overall sales process – a task that initially took just three weeks to complete, but one which has had a
far-reaching effect on the business as a whole.
